Children, Youth and Families

On the first Sunday of every month we have a Family and Parish Communion Service. This uses one of the simpler authorised Eucharistic liturgies with hymns and readings chosen especially for the younger ages. We bring the altar down into the nave for these services. There are now 16 children with their parents who are regularly with us each month, and we are hoping that numbers will increase as time goes on.

This is a reminder that this year’s Ride and Stride takes place on Saturday 13th September. Everything for this year’s Ride and Stride is easily available on our website https://camhct.uk/ride-and-stride/ .  Scroll down to get the details.

Advance Warning.  Pet Service on Sunday 14 September at 10am.  If you would like to bring your pets, they will be welcome.  You are responsible for making sure that they are safe and calm.  That means dogs on leads, cats and other small animals in pet boxes.

GET READY, OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD (SHOEBOXES) will be going ahead this year Last year nearly 12 million boxes were filled and sent to many countries. This is just a little bit of a nudge if you wanted to take part this year, to start collecting items such as stationary, soap, small toys, knitted items, balls, games, small clothing items, knitted toys or to get knitting or sewing pencil cases, tote bags No sweets or toothpaste. More details next month. Thank you, Jane Furlow 07745046921
